The service

UptimeWatchdog provides uptime monitoring, status checks, incident history, and alerting tools. Monitoring results depend on third-party networks, hosting providers, target websites, email delivery, and other systems outside our control, so results may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable at times.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your login credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use the service to monitor systems you are not authorized to monitor, overload third-party systems, reverse engineer the service, or use it for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity.

Plans and payments

Free and paid plans may include limits on monitors, check intervals, history, alerts, and other features. Paid plan details, billing cycles, taxes, and fees will be shown at purchase. We may change plans or pricing, but changes will not apply retroactively to charges already incurred.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep UptimeWatchdog reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed to operate, secure, or improve the product.

Intellectual property

The service, website, branding, software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of monitor URLs and account content you provide, while granting us the rights needed to operate the service for you.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service, or use the product in a harmful or unlawful way.
